Water Troughs
In some parts of South Africa our farmers find it difficult to provide water to their livestock and they have to drive through hectares and hectares of their farmland with a small water tank at the back of their truck just to be able to get water to their animals.
Without a fuss, RotoTank™ has been able to solve the problem by manufacturing a small range uniquely designed plastic water troughs which requires low maintenance, it has a black lining to prevent penetration of UV rays thereby preventing the growth of algae. The troughs are insulated which helps to keep water cool.
We have two types of water trough designs.
One is a water trough and tank combination which come in two sizes and contains 2000 litres of water in the tank and the trough and the other contains 5000 litres of water in the tank and the trough.
Our latest design plastic water cribs are rectangular design and also come forth in two sizes, the small one contains about 1000 litres of water and the bigger one contains about 1800 litres of water.
The water levels of both water troughs and water cribs remain constant due to float valves. The float valves are protected from thirsty animals and are also baboon-proof.
Our unique designs is suitable for cattle, sheep, horses, ostrich, etc. The troughs contain no metal structures or parts that can rust
