In some industries the extraction or straining of all liquids out of a polyethylene tank is important. Because of the problems particularly experienced in the chemical industry, RotoTank™ developed and patented a unique ‘slanted’ tank and pallet in order to facilitate 100% draining of liquids. This involves a specially developed horizontal or vertical tank mounted onto a patented 4° slanted ring-shaped pallet.

The slanted base guides fluid naturally towards the lower point where the outlet is fitted resulting in 100% drainage of the liquid. Continuous flow sufficiently agitates the chemical content which avoids settling of chemical sludge. The is an ideal alternative to plastic silo’s which requires an expensive metal mounting stand. It is easily installed or erected. Generally, no engineering certificate will be requires since no structural steelwork is needed. Unlike galvanized and metal tanks it is easily transported which greatly contributes to the affordability of the product.

For the horizontal decant range the pallet design incorporates side forklift entry allowing for easy on / off loading or repositioning elsewhere. The decant pallet is strong enough to be moved with contents. The decant horizontal tanks are suitable for a diverse range of liquids from drinking water, industrial chemicals, agricultural fertilizers, food stuffs, etc. Similar to normal horizontal tanks it is recommended that the baffle balls be used as a safety consideration.
