Siliphos is an economical and highly effective water-treatment medium designed for both household and industrial applications. These glass-like polyphosphate-silicate spheres provide continuous protection against scale build-up and corrosion inside pipe networks, geysers, heat exchangers, and other equipment.
With only 2–3 ppm required, Siliphos creates a protective barrier on metal surfaces and prevents minerals from forming hard scale. It also helps reduce “brown water” caused by corrosion, and can gradually dissolve iron-oxide (brown) scale inside older pipework.
Important: While Siliphos can control hard scale (calcium carbonate), it cannot easily remove existing deposits. It does, however, prevent new scale from forming.
Even clean-looking water can cause long-term damage. Hardness minerals, corrosion, and natural deposits can collect inside plastic, copper, and galvanized piping. As little as 1 mm of scale on a heating element can increase energy consumption by up to 15%, driving up monthly costs.
