Description
Water Storage Pressure Vessel 100l:
Pressure vessels store water under pressure, allowing it to be drawn upon during periods of high demand, even when the pump is not running.
- Pressure Maintenance:
They help maintain a consistent water pressure level in the distribution system, preventing water hammer (sudden pressure surges that can damage pipes and fixtures).
- Pump Protection:
By storing water, they reduce the frequency of pump starts and stops, which can extend the pump’s lifespan and reduce wear and tear.
- Energy Savings:
Less frequent pump cycling translates to less energy consumption. The Larger the vessel the larger the savings.
How do They Work :
- Bladder
RotoTank pressure vessels have a bladder inside, which is filled with compressed air.
- Water Injection:
The pump pushes water into the bladder, compressing the air.
- Pressure Release:
When water is drawn from the system, the compressed air in the bladder pushes water out, maintaining pressure.
- Pump Cycle:
As the pressure drops, the pump automatically turns on to refill the vessel, completing the cycle.
Key Features:
- Material:
Outer Casing Steel
- Size:
Available in various sizes, ranging from small volumes for residential use to large volumes for commercial applications.
- Pressure Switch:
A pressure switch controls the pump’s operation, turning it on when the pressure in the vessel drops below a certain level and off when the pressure reaches a preset point.
- Air Pre-charge:
The bladder is pre-charged with air to a specific pressure, which is crucial for proper operation.
Our bladder type series of pressure tanks is designed to provide reliable storage for pressurized water in a booster pump system. The pressure tank effectively release its stored volume of pressurized water on demand and prevents pump start-ups for demands lower than its storage capacity. This range is available in a vertical, horizontal and a two-in-one vertical horizontal tank.
Feature :
- Tank: Carbon Steel
- Bladder: EPDM
- Orientation: Vertical or horizontal
- Connections: 1” – 11/4 ” BSP
- Capacity:36l – 50l
- EPMD Bladder – 0 to 99C
- Ambient Temp Up To 45C
